FIELD HOUSE FARM LAND

Here at Field House Farms, the good life is a connection deeper than friends and family, deeper than feast and hard work; it is a connection to this land and to this place. A connection to the honorable harvest that occurred in this space a hundred years ago - a thousand years ago. A reconnection to the truth that was lost somewhere along the line of urban development and innovation. This space is wild, rich, and ready to provide.

The truth is simple, so we try to live it.

FROM FIELD TO FIST

We’ve come a long way since starting our food program in 2016. We’ve always known that local food is an important part of our food culture and we’re happy to be able to provide to the community, even in our small way.

Our farm began its journey with our joy in sinking our hands into fertile soil. Together we planted our intentions, seed by seed. As they grew so did our capacity, expanding the scope of our farm and increasing our ability to provide. We have had our farmland for six years now, and we’ve learned a lot as we grow along with it. Its care has passed from hand to hand as farmers come and go, but passion for land and food has been passed along as well.

Our Farm Lead, Ian, plans future crops with our Chefs + Brew Crew to accommodate seasonality into every dish and brew. Together, concocting inventive ways of utilizing every sprig and stem, every edible piece of the plant to eliminate waste and spur creativity. We want everything we provide to taste like it was freshly plucked from our garden, because it was.

With a LOT of hard work and dedication, our harvest is brought to Field House as a part of our Farms project. Along with it, hopefully, a connection to the land that you can taste. Our aim is to provide our community with sustenance, produced within the Valley, by crafting goodness and being purveyors of the good life.

FROM THE FIELD

Check out our short film, From the Field, that we made with our friends at Inmist Media House on the beginning of our farming journey.
